OVERVIEW


Our Mix-It-Up camp offers different morning and afternoon activities by the week, from July 10 to September 1, 2017. We believe that all forms of movement share common benefits. It is our mission to pass this belief on to all of our students, shifting the focus to fun.

Morning options: Parkour, Gymnastics, or Agility.  Afternoon options: Parkour, Agility or Martial Arts.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The Agility/Parkour option is only available as Agility AM / Parkour PM
  • Registration is by the week only. Prior to July 10, campers may register by the day or week at Exclusive Camp  (full or half day at a single Dynamite gym). 
  • Check age restrictions when registering for different options (camper must be age eligible for BOTH camps)
  • Campers can choose 1 or 2 hours of Martial Arts in the afternoon.

CAMP OPTIONS


Registration is by the week only from July 10 to September 1, 2017

Full-day = 8:30am - 4:30pm

FULL DAY EXTENDED AM & PM = 8:00am - 6:00pm*

*All FD PM extended campers will be escorted to The Agility Center at 4:30pm. Pick ups after 6:00pm will incur a late fee of $1/minute


PROGRAMS


Parkour AM/Martial Arts PM

During the morning half of camp students will learn what it's like to do parkour and apply it to the outside environment; in the afternoon*, they are accompanied by their instructors to Pure Performance to develop strength, flexibility, body awareness and self-esteem via BJJ grappling, Muay Thai striking techniques, and Krav Maga self-defense. AGES 7 & UP.


Gymnastics AM/Parkour PM

Practice form with the technical side of flipping, twisting and skills with gymnastics. Use specialize equipment to perfect and further develop skills then take those skills to the ground in the Parkour Center for the afternoon portion of the day. AGES 7 & UP

Gymnastics AM/Martial Arts PM

Learn air awareness and timing through skills and drills in gymnastics in the mornings, while simultaneously working on endurance and strength in the afternoons* with BJJ, Krav Maga, and Muay Thai. Together these sports allow students the fundamentals to move further faster as an athlete. AGES 5 & UP

Gymnastics AM/Agility PM

Enjoy developing new skills in gymnastics every morning through technical and form based instruction then take that to the course at The Agility Center (TAC). TAC offers strength and conditioning through ninja warrior style obstacle courses to compliment your child's newly learned skills, helping them develop and learn faster. AGES 3.5 & UP

Agility AM/Parkour PM

Students will be guided through the dynamic obstacles and fun games at The Agility Center during the day and will be escorted by their instructors following lunch to Bolt Parkour Academy for an afternoon of parkour fundamentals training. AGES 7 & UP

Agility AM/Martial Arts PM

After practicing ninja warrior skills in the morning, participants will be accompanied by their instructors to Pure Performance in the afternoon* to be an actual warrior and learn some BJJ grappling, Krav Maga self-defense skills, and Muay Thai striking techniques using pads and other equipment for maximum safety and fun. AGES 5 & UP


*Martial Arts PM schedule:

Brazilian Jiu-jitzu (BJJ): 1 - 2pm

Krav Maga/Muay Thai: 2 - 3pm

Pure Performance specializes in teaching basic martial arts skills to children. Their trained instructors advise that campers 5 - 7 years old limit participation to one hour in the afternoon (unless parents believe that their camper can endure two hours), while older children can elect one or both sessions. Parents who prefer that their camper participates in one or both sessions, regardless of their children's desires, need to inform the gym. 


The State of Maryland regulates all summer camps and requires the health forms for all campers. If you camper does NOT attend school in Maryland, you will need to submit immunization forms (in addition to health forms) prior to your child attending camp.
